Ended up using some grainy CCTV footage to put together a story about an unfortunate young mother who, after a moment's inattention, saw her six-month old baby's pram roll off the edge of a suburban railway platform and into the path of an approaching train just a few feet away.
The pram was smashed to pieces but the train passed almost harmlessly over the infant, who emerged with just a small cut to his head.
